Leigh Russell has written nearly forty novels, all traditionally published. She is best known for her award winning Geraldine Steel crime series, which has sold nearly two million copies. She also writes a popular cosy crime series inspired by her daughter’s rescue puppy.
Leigh has an MA in English Literature from the University of Kent. She has run creative writing courses in Greece, France and Italy, as well as the UK, and has taught in prisons and universities. In addition to writing fiction, she works to support emerging writers as Chair of Judges for the Crime Writers Association prestigious Debut Dagger Award, an Advisory Fellow for the Royal Literary Fund, and a sought after freelance editor.
