Bounce and Rhyme sessions are for babies and toddlers and their parents and carers. It's a fun way of sharing nursery rhymes, action songs and simple percussion music.

Chesham Library welcomes back bestselling author John Niven, whose books include critically-acclaimed memoir O Brother and Kill Your Friends - a darkly comic satire of the music industry.

He will be in conversation with journalist Sean Hannam, talking about his career and his latest novel The Fathers - a wry look at modern fatherhood and toxic masculinity.

There will be copies of The Fathers available to buy and get signed on the night, courtesy of Chapter Two community bookshop.

Are you interested in finding out about the history of your family? Would you like to find out the hidden secret of your ancestors? Do you want to create/extend your family tree?

Judith, our experienced volunteer can help you use a wide range of sources e.g. Ancestry, official records, Census returns, newspapers and other publications to explore your past.

We offer Thursday afternoon sessions 2.00pm-3.30pm.
