Author Spectacular: P.W.S. Henley discusses "World War ll: The Fateful Meeting in Balestrand" at Marlow
Join us this June for an exciting line-up of author conversations. Each event will be a unique and exciting experience as we delve into each author’s personal journey: their road from book idea to publication, their imagination and inspiration, their writing style and process, the challenges they have faced, and the success they have enjoyed.
Saturday 7 June at 10.30am: P.W.S. Henley discusses his forbidden romance novel, ‘World War ll: The Fateful Meeting in Balestrand’. A gripping tale of love and survival against the backdrop of Nazi-occupied Norway. Nineteen-year-old Kristina Neilsen forms a forbidden connection with Jurgen, a German officer and doctor. As their love grows, Kristina faces unimaginable risks and consequences. Forced to flee to Sweden, she must navigate the perils of war while Jurgen grapples with his own moral dilemmas on the front lines.
