Developmental Language Disorder Drop-In - FREE session at Marlow

This session if for those with Developmental Language Disorder (DLD), or suspect they or a family member may have DLD. The event is for adults as well as teenagers, children and their parents / carers.

The drop-in session will be led by Symbol's Highly Specialist Speech and Language Therapist, Amanda Finer. A leading authority on DLD, Amanda specialises in diagnosing and providing therapy for children with DLD and Speech Sound disorders. Amanda is an award-winning author and public speaker on DLD.

1 in 4 have Developmental Language Disorder (DLD); a hidden but common lifelong condition.

Signs of DLD 

• Difficulties understanding words, instructions & questions
• Difficulties remembering what has been said
• Difficulties finding the right words to express ideas
• Difficulties putting words in the right order to make clear sentences
• Difficulties telling stories or recalling events in a clear and logical way.
