Library Flex In-Person Induction

Library Flex offers extended opening hours and greater flexibility, allowing you to access the library even during unstaffed times. To use the library during unstaffed hours, you’ll need to become a Library Flex member by completing a short induction.

During your induction, you’ll learn how to:

• Enter the library using your card and PIN
• Use self-service facilities including book borrowing and computer access
• Stay safe with our enhanced security features including CCTV and emergency procedures
• Use the Council Access Point phone to contact council services

Please remember to bring your library card with you so your Library Flex permissions can be added to your account at the end of the session. Note that you must be 16 or over to become a Library Flex member. Please arrive promptly at the beginning of the slot so the session can start of time.
